Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary – visit our native animals up close, with the chance to pet and feed kangaroos. See wombats, Tasmanian Devils, koalas, echidnas, emus and other native birds.
Richmond Historic Village – time to explore this superb example of convict heritage buildings, local art galleries, and delicious examples of Tasmanian food. See the oldest bridge in Australia and tour the Richmond Gaol for a fascinating look at convict life in Tasmania (optional - $7 entry fee)
Rosny Lookout – Stunning views of the city of Hobart with kunanyi/Mt Wellington backdrop and a close up view and story of the Tasman Bridge disaster.

Derwent Valley - travel through this lush river valley, past hop fields, orchards and beautiful Tasmanian rural scenery.
The Salmon Ponds - visit the beautiful gardens of this historic estate; feed the huge trout and learn about the history of salmon and trout in Tasmania (fascinating, even if you're not into fishing!)
Mt Field National Park /Russell Falls - take a short gentle stroll through Tasmanian rainforest to the famous Russell Falls or add a half hour walk through the Tall Trees.
If time allows, we will briefly explore some of the Hobart City Sights on our return, including the old homes and heritage cottages of Battery Point, before returning to your ship. Or to Salamanca Place with its shops, street cafes, pubs and art galleries.
